大浪灣不單是麥理浩徑和渡假屋，整塊區域都是香港人的「寶」。蚺蛇北脊的吊鐘花，雙鹿石澗的幽瀑翠潭，奇特的岩洞海岸，海底下的海葵花園與小魚。(Oh, 海葵花園我聽聞已久，可惜未有機會一見)
還有﹗200年的村落歷史，乃至山邊的生態植物，近年的變遷與發展，作者一一細述。

2011年完結，重溫這首詩，明早起床時照着調較心情，2012會有個好開始。

據作者所述，這首是關於愛情的 (spirit of unrequited love)，不過廣泛流傳後，多出現於喪禮，包括2012年英皇太后的喪禮。

由西班牙人訴說發現新大陸的故事最適合不過。西班牙導演Sebastian及監制Costa，帶來了他的拍攝班底，來到Bolivia玻利維亞
第三大城市Cochabamba (中譯:科恰班巴)，拍攝白人入侵美洲的史詩式電影。
Sebastian的拍攝過程暗湧不斷:選土著演員時因招募太了太多人以致沒有被撰的人不滿; 玻人婦女拒絕合作拍攝浸死嬰兒的片段;最不幸的是演土著主角的當地人Daniel因為上街抗爭而被捕; 導演在沉重壓力下得病差點不能拍重要的一幕。
戲中戲道出五百年前歷史，由Antón演哥倫布入型入格，他做演員是為錢，大部份入侵者也是為名利。另一部份人以傳教士代表，為的是錢以外的東西。這正正是Sebastian一行人走入玻國的一的映襯(他們是外國人，有錢有權)。戲中戲亦有土著的反抗與被迫害，這亦正正映照了現實中玻國人反抗外商將食水私有化的現況。
Sebastian一行人來Cochabamba拍片並不合時，因為2000年玻國的”第一次水之戰”正要爆發。
玻國平民 vs. 3B。
3B是Bechtel(美資發展商), World Bank(世銀) 及Banzer(時任玻國總統)
玻國立國之後向世銀借錢，為了還錢，世銀向玻國施壓，令其將很多公用服務基建等變賣。受到美國政府眷顧的Bechtel奪得玻國供水系統的發展權，該公司專門往窮國”投資”，時有剝削醜聞發生，在Bechtel的管理下的玻國，水費增加了200%，一個月入少於$67的菜販要每月交$6.6水費(收入的10%)，有少少錢的人水費一樣加得離普，由$14加到$26。
在這樣的背景下，玻國本土演員Daniel走到群眾中，帶領國民反抗。
三條故事線交錯重疊，Daniel在戲中的角色是土著; 境頭前是Sebastian的演員，要和拍攝隊合作; 境頭以外他要上街反抗。不單是人物，連時間都交錯一起，一回兒是15世紀的美洲，土著被白人侵略者剝削及迫害，回到千禧年代，原住民發起遊行上街阻路，政府出動武警鎮壓。

俗語有云:以牙還牙，以眼還眼; 又說有仇不報非君子。同時又有冤冤相報何時了?等等…
咁，乜野係正確答案呢？

Anton是Elias的父親，係非洲做義務醫生。聽到無國界醫生，即時會想到這個角色是偉大, 正義, 善良。不過，同一個人的另外一面，和太太關係不好而分居，少時間陪兒子(雖然和兒子關係密切)，另外很多人給人的印象是軟弱: 戲中有段就是他去調停兒子和別人打架，其父(Lars)來到後拍了他兩下而不還手。為了說明他被打了兩下並沒什麼傷害，竟然帶三個小孩到Lars的車房，讓Lars打多幾下。
Anton的立場是反對復仇的:
“If you hit him, then he will hit you. It will never end.
Don’t you understand? That’s how wars start.”
但他很多時都只能眼巴巴看著暴力及復仇的出現，就如他醫好了非洲惡霸，但又無奈地讓病人向惡霸施暴。
Christine喪母後，跟父親來到丹麥一個鄉村小鎮，在學校認識Elias。Elias跟他爸爸一樣，被人欺負不還手。結交Chris之後，Chris要帶他復仇，復仇對象還包括欺負Anton的Lars。
“If I hadn’t fought back, then everyone would think I was weak.
… Not if you hit hard enough the first time.
… It’s like that in every school. Now no one dares touch me.”
仇恨從何而生？Chris年紀輕輕卻冤念極重。可能是誤會，可能是一個睇唔順眼，冤念便越讓越大。化解不容易。
功利主義或者可以解析一部份(報仇是lose-lose Situation)，但好像有點缺漏。
電影的答案是: 會傷害無辜的人…
